"We lost and the attitude that we had I don’t think we deserved to win, from the start we knew it was a hard game to play playing against a smaller club than Manchester United but the attitude that we had is not like we wanted to beat them. They had more hunger than us and I think they showed that, I put myself first when I say our attitude wasn’t right. We kept trying and pushing and it will be a big lesson for us.
I think we made a mistake that we shouldn’t make and it was 1-0 and that’s okay but then it was 2-0 and we came back to 2-1 and we had hope we could score again in the first half but then we concede a goal which is a hit for us and in the first half it was a hit and very disappointing and we tried to push but players like myself we kept losing a lot of balls and we kept trying until we scored the goal but it was too late.
We played at home in the first game and now away, it’s too different games, playing against Brighton it’s two different teams as well with different tactics.
You can not always operate the game the same way as the last one it always has to focused and we always want to play better than the last game . But we know we can’t always play very good but our attitude has to be right, and it wasn’t today."
Paul Pogba tells MUTV that ManUtd performance & result at Brighton “shouldn’t have happened” that United needed to “wake up”, and that fans “should be mad. We’re mad, everyone is mad”
