Sarri on tonight: "We played the first 30 mins without confidence. Nervous. We were unable to move the ball very fast. We were in trouble on their pressing. Then a bit better in last 15 of FH. After the first goal, we did very well. We move the ball fast"
Sarri on Jorginho boos: "I think that in the first 30 mins, we understood why Jorginho is very important for our play. We were in trouble to exit our half from pressing. With Jorginho it is easier, I think. I hope our fans understand Jorginho is an important player"
Sarri on if Chelsea play like they did today in the first 30 mins vs City: "It will be a disaster, of course."
Sarri on Hudson-Odoi: "I think he played very well. Christensen played very well. Emerson played very well. I am really happy with these three players. I think that at the moment they are ready to play with consistency"
Sarri on young British players: "We had lots of problems with Loftus-Cheek in the last two months. He started training with his team-mates agian only two days ago after problems with his back. He can improve a lot. So can Hudson-Odoi, he's just 18”
Sarri on Ampadu: "We need to find the right position on the pitch for Ampadu. We are trying him as a midfielder, centre back and full back. We need to have a clear idea. From now until the end of the season, we have to decide, otherwise it is diffficult to improve."
Sarri on Hudson-Odoi: "In the same position we have Pedro, Willian & Hazard so it is not easy for a young player to play with consistency with his team-mates. You need to remember Callum played 14 matches, in Eng there isn't another player of 18 with 14 matches in the first team"
Sarri urges patience from Hudson-Odoi saying that 14 matches could become 30 next season.
Sarri on bad start for Chelsea: "We had problems with the fans in our last match at home so it is normal for the players to enter the pitch without confidence. I am really happy with the application though in the first half."
Sarri on why Chelsea didn't use the ball well in the first 30 mins: "It is importnat to play with confidence, if we want to play with one-touch or two-touches."
